A 2-month-old female local dog named Desi is experiencing skin problems with signs of itching and alopecia since she was resqueed 3 weeks before being examined. Clinical examination showed pruritus, alopecia, scales, erythema, papules pustules. On deep scrapping on the found presence Sarcoptes sp. mites amounted to one mite per field view. Hematological that animal had leukocytosis, normochromic normocytic anemia, thrombocytopenia. The diagnosed scabiosis. dog’s owner have given simparica 2 therapy by injection Diphenhydramine HCl 0.26 mL (1 mg/kg BW) once intramuscularly then continued Chlorpheniramine Maleate x tablets a day (0.5 for 7 days, Kalvidog 1 ¼ tablet dogs weighing 10 kg) clean itchy using wet tissue smeared Scabbless Cream (in form an ointment) days. Dogs are bathed times every days Dermasep soap which contains sulfur. Evaluation after (24 given) dog's condition improved reduced scratching intensity, squama, healthier looking coat. results in site also absence mites. continue smearing Virgin Coconut Oil giving day. purpose this case report add information cases scabies puppies scales pruritus. After 24 simparica, experienced recovery because treatment accompanied topical or ointment containing sulfur Suggestions can be bathe regularly, apply give multivitamins so it accelerate hair growth dog.
